Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Ingredients
Crust
- 3 Tablespoons Sugar
- ¾ Cup Butter
- 1½ Cups Pretzels crushed
Middle Layer
- 1 Package Cream Cheese 8 ounces, softened
- 1 Tub Cool Whip 8 ounces, thawed
- ¾ Cup Sugar
Top Layer
- 1 Package Strawberry Jell-O 0.6 ounce
- 4 Cups Strawberries sliced
Instructions
Crust
- Prehead the oven to 350℉.
- Cream 3 tablespoons of sugar and the butter.
- Add the crushed pretzels and mix well.
- Press into a 9"x13" dish.
- Bake at 350℉ for 10 minutes.
- Let the crust cool completely before adding the middle layer.
Middle Layer
- Mix the cream cheese and ¾ cup of sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the Cool Whip.
- Spread evenly over the pretzel crust.
- Place in the refrigerator to set.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour before adding the strawberry layer.
Top Layer
- In a large glass bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in 2 cups of boiling water.
- Add ½ cup of cold water.
- Stir in the strawberries.
- Chill until partially set (about 1-1.5 hours).
- Spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Chill until firm (at least 4-6 hours).
