extra to sprinkle on top
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°
Grease cookie sheet and set aside.
Sift flour, baking powder, spices, and salt together.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Cream together sugar, corn syrup, and butter.
Beat into mashed potatoes.
Combine all ingredients and stir.
Drop tablespoonfuls of batter onto cookie sheet.
Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 375° for 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
