Spring just started so that means it’s almost summer, at least to me. Summer means strawberry season, so bring on all the strawberry desserts! Strawberry Cream Pie is honestly one of the best ones, in my opinion.

This recipe can be made with any berry of your choice: blackberries, blueberries, or raspberries can be used instead of strawberries. Fresh, frozen, or canned berries can be used depending on your preference and time of year. A mixed berry cream pie would also be delicious!

Final Thoughts on Strawberry Cream Pie

This pie reminded me of strawberry shortcake – sweet, but not too sweet. Sometimes crusts are too soggy for me, but the Corn Flakes added a nice crunch. The crust was fairly simple to make, which I enjoyed. It was an easy pie to make, so not much skill or prior experience in the kitchen is necessary. Have you made a pie crust before? Did you find it difficult?
