My husband and daughter love a meaty sandwich so when I saw this recipe I knew I had to make it for them. It was such a hit! I wasn’t sure how my daughter would react to caraway seeds, but no complaints. We’ll definitely make these once for a picnic once the weather turns nice again.

Yay! I’m so happy to hear that she didn’t mind the caraway seeds. Yes, these sandwiches would be great for a picnic!

This is literally the perfect sandwich! The Italian dressing makes it so much like a store-bought sub… but better.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled you enjoyed the sandwich, and I agree – that touch of Italian dressing really does add that extra special flavor.

This sandwich is filling! I love how this sandwich is loaded with so much ingredients although when I made this, I didn’t have turkey available so I replaced it with chicken and I caramelized my onion. I also added Siracha and a good amount of cheddar and quick melt cheese on top and it was really delicious!

Chicken sounds like a great substitution and caramelized onions would be amazing! I’m glad you liked it! 🙂
