This Classic Mint Julep Recipe is simple to make with only three ingredients: mint, sugar, and bourbon. It is perfect for watching the Kentucky Derby or relaxing by the pool.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon Powdered Sugar
  • 4 Sprigs Mint

Instructions

  • Remove leaves from mint stem and place into 12-ounce glass.
  • Add powdered sugar and a drop of water.
  • Use a muddler to mash ingredients until powdered sugar is dissolved.
  • Pour in Bourbon and fill glass with crushed ice.
  • Stir until outside of glass is frosted.
  • Add a sprig of mint for decoration.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
